The Greatest Compliment is that of Family or Friend.
Types of Massage I have practiced, taught or simply enjoy.

Deep Tissue (not Hard Tissue) I say that because I do not believe that deep tissue should hurt. It can be exert pressure and can even be uncomfortable Yet it should never hurt. Pain is the symptom of too much. Deep tissue works when we dance between release and pain. Pain makes the muscle contract and then it becomes a struggle to get it to release. If I can get it to stay just under that contraction mode, the possibilities of release and next day pain or greatly reduced. This takes some feedback from the client and the rewards are abundant.

Fibromyalgia I have been working with clients and teaching this modality since the late 90's. Understanding the pain and complexity of this syndrome has been a passion for the client to live a better quality of life. It is a whole lifestyle change and massage is just a part of it.
Together we can come to a place of agreement and find what works for you, your lifestyle and budget.

Therapeutic is just a catch phrase for doing what works. When you take all the modalities I have either taken, taught or assisted over the years. Low Back Pain Release, Rotator Cuff, Myofascial, Reflexology, TMJ, Carpal Tunnel, Stretching,

Trigger Point is a method of finding how whole systems of the body can be relieved by simply finding the primary and secondary triggers that are sending pain out to distant area's of the body. This can be accomplished by using light, medium and this is one therapy that I break my "No Pain" attitude. There are reasons that the extreme will deliver a great result.

Swedish is a softer and more relaxing massage by complementary standards. More than anything else, this is simply the best at times.

Reflexology and it is plural in nature in that for me the body is one big network and there are several places that the body "Reflect's" back to another area. The feet are the most common, Hands come next and then their is the ears, teeth, eyes, face then there are other methods that help to asses the bodies needs and or to relax that area before we start working on it. It simply works.

Myotherapy is a method started by Bonnie Pruden and expanded by KC Miller at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. I have taken, taught and given thousands of these style of therapies. It's a mixture of intuition guided by a systematic 7 step method that if used properly, it will get results.

Lymphatic is a very soft and I really don't even think of it as massage. More as a therapy that brings the fluids the muscles need to heal by a  very systematic method that encourages fluids to be put where they need to be and or reduce them when they are trapped.

Other Modalities & Classes are Elder Touch, Duet (two therapist on one client), Rock & Unlock (Treager), Armoring Release, Carpal Tunnel release, Low Back Release, Zoning, Myofascial,

How I got into the passion of Massage:

I started my career in massage in 1994, graduating from Southwest Institute of Myotherapy. 609 N. Scottsdale Road. Scottsdale AZ.
I was coming from the 20 years in the HVAC/R family business. I had also had a Taekwondo school in Payson Arizona. The lady I was dating at the time was a rather new massage therapist and I loved to receive them. She came up to visit for  the weekend and told me she signed up for a weekend course in a modality called Healing Touch. I told her, I waited all week to spend time  with her and so she invited me to join her and she said, besides, you will understand more of what I do and that is good for the relationship. So I gathered up my pennies and took the course with her. After that I was practicing on most everyone I had a chance to work on.  My lease terminated at the school and I was unable to get an affordable situation secured. So I moved back to Mesa and started Massage School and have been doing it ever since.
