Healing Touch was my first experience of working with energy. This I did even before I became a LMT and it is in reality what got me interested and wanting to follow that line of work. I achieved level 2b level of certification with this modality.
Reiki was the next method of energy that I first learned and then over a year later I decided I needed to expand to level two. By this time I was taking classes at SWIHA and I finished by Reiki training with them all the way to Master / Teacher level. I taught classes for several years and then my focus was more on Yoga so the classes where passes on to other teachers.
Polarity are classes that I have take over the years. I am not a certified polarity instructor or therapist. I have simply taken various classes over the years for my own development and to help me understand the concepts of energy, self healing, being an instrument and the intertwining of physical, physics, spiritual, soul concepts and just plain mental, logical know how can bring enough awareness to the client for self healing. I love polarity/cranial sacral and love to receive it too.
Prana is the word used in the Yoga world that often means breath and can mean the essence of life too. To me, Prana is Life...
Lymphatic and the only reason I put this in here is that I heard it once that there is one fluid that touches every cell in the body, that is the lymphatic fluid. Not even blood touches every cell. And I have also heard it said that the Chinese once said that is is thought that the lymphatic fluid is the "CHI" for the body. I hold this concept close to my heart.
Understood was that I learned that energy is energy, From my 20 years in the HVAC/R was that electricity flow down the center of the core of it's medium, when it's direct Current. That is to say that if I am directing the energy to or away from you, it travels through me. That is when I can take it one, change it and it can change me. HOWEVER, when electricity is alternating or what I call a more neutral state of being in that it's neither give or take, it flow where it needs to go, the electrons flow on the outside of the medium of travel. For electricity that is a copper wire usually. For me that is outside of my body and my ability to be neutral and just allow "your" needs to be assisted by your spiritual beliefs and I am just an instrument.
